BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Alastair Kennedy
Alastair’s interest in setting up an organisation suitable for community investment in renewable energy stemmed from the 2019 ‘Energising Communities’ conference held in Moray.

Anne Skene
Anne Skene has enjoyed a full career as a teacher and manager of provision for children with Additional Support Needs. For 20 years she ran her own education business which provided consultancy, instruction and teacher training both in Scotland and internationally. She has a long history of involvement and holding office in a variety of community groups and is an experienced board member. She has recently been a Moray Councillor for the Forres Ward with responsibility for chairing the Children and Young People’s Services Committee and is presently Chair of the Findhorn and Kinloss Community Council. She is very involved with building and developing a school centre in western Kenya.

Fabio Villani
Discovering the joys of facilitation in 1999 changed his life and career direction, leading him to start his second business, specialising in facilitation and community development. This led to a number of exciting community development and leadership roles in both the third and the public sector, culminating in his current role on the Leadership Team of tsiMORAY. Fabio is a firm believer in the value of peer-led learning and non-directive leadership; he is never happier than when facilitating collaborative working and learning.

Alex Walker
Alex Walker is a sustainability consultant and social entrepreneur who has lectured widely on the prospects for a low carbon economy. He is currently a director of Findhorn Wind Park, and chairman of Ekopia Social Investments Ltd, which supports numerous social enterprises in Moray. He is also a board member of Development Trusts Association Scotland.

Michelle Gillibrand
She was one of the key workers who supported the organisation and promotion of the Enterprising Communities Conference held in 2019, which ultimately spear-headed the formation of Community Energy Moray. Michelle is now the Development Manager at Forres Area Community Trust which aims to make the Forres area a better place to live, work and visit.
