Community Energy Moray

ENERGY4ALL

Energy4All, which is assisting Community Energy Moray with its share offers, is the leading social enterprise in the UK for establishing community owned renewable energy schemes. Community Energy Moray has been established and is run along similar lines to other successful Energy4All sponsored co-operatives.

Energy4All was established on a not-for-profit basis in 2002 for the sole purpose of promoting and facilitating community ownership of renewable energy in the UK. The basic idea is that new co-operatives will be established to undertake renewable energy projects, with technical expertise and management by Energy4All.

Energy4All seeks to recover costs and provide for future development work from its fees. Any profits that arise are used by the company for the furtherance of its aims and objectives. To date, Energy4All has promoted over 30 Project Co-operatives, including Community Energy Moray.

Energy4All has been involved in the development of the Community Energy Moray, and manages the day-to-day operations of Community Energy Moray through a management contract.

Energy4All has dedicated development staff working throughout the UK, utilising key partnerships to promote community renewables. Energy4All is owned by the co-ops it creates.

Community Energy Moray is a shareholder of Energy4All thus giving you access to the Energy4All family of co-ops to learn more about renewable energy.
